Rautaki is a family company that was established in 2004. Each director brings a distinct set of skills and experience, as well as a strong network of industry specific professionals to the company. We are of Maori (Waikato – Ngäti Mähuta) and Chinese (Zhongshan and Toishan) descent.

Jenny Lee (Director)
M.A (First Class Honours), BEd, Dip. Tchg (secondary), EdD candidate
Jenny’s strengths are in teaching, learning and research, in particular, curriculum and program development, pedagogy and Māori education.
Jenny is an experienced secondary school teacher lectured in Maori Education at the School of Education, University of Auckland between 2000 - 2005. She has been involved in a range of educational forums, presented at international conferences, and led resource development projects for the Ministry of Education.

Peter Lee (Director)
Bachelor of Communication Studies
Peter has strengths in television production and sound engineering. For four years, Peter was a Senior Editor and Director for the Maori Language Children’s Programme ‘Pukana'. Peter also set up an independent sound recording studio and has been successfully producing original music for both radio and television since 2000.
Peter is currently involved in the production of a documentary about Maori-Chinese identity in conjunction with Freckle Film Productions, as well as a documentary about a Chinese woman from Zhongshan, supported by the Chinese Poll Tax Heritage Trust.

Maryann Lee (Director)
B.Ed, Dip. Tchg (primary), Dip. New Media, Postgrad diploma in e-education
Maryann has strengths in web-development and e-learning. She has worked in web design companies, schools and tertiary institutions, and combines both her technical and educational experiences on all projects. Maryann is also responsible for the project management of many of the resources.
